ibis Music, a programme of intimate, in hotel gigs featured up-&-coming talent identified through local Spotify data launched in 17 countries in 2019. The finale was an up-&-coming talent showcase and competition where we took the best of that talent to the Europe Stage at Sziget festival 2019. In addition to the ibis Music stage, we created ibis Open Studio, a real space for meetings and musical experiences. Open to all and directly inspired by the new ibis designs, offered festival-goers the opportunity to discover many activities and participate in a photo competition on social media – on the theme of the recording studio – to give them the chance to win a night of ultimate comfort at The Loft.
